Would you be interested in joining local volunteers who are involved in a newly created conservation group that meets regularly to help give some TLC to Blackmoor Copse, our local Wiltshire Wildlife Trust Reserve?.
If you’re interested in learning what we do, please see the BCCG – (Blackmoor Copse Conservation Group), page of this website, with the dates that we’ll be meeting through the winter.We meet on various TUESDAYS on the Right of Way just in from Ben Lane, at 10.30 and work for as long as we wish – a couple of hours or so or right up until 3 pm or so (whatever suits each person). We bring our own hot drinks, and a packed lunch picnic if staying all day, and take regular breaks and a very relaxed lunch break.
We park at the gate that’s just below Manor Cottage, but on the opposite side of Ben Lane (see map above).
Our dates for this winter are 3rd Dec, 17th Dec, 7th Jan, 21st Jan, 4th Feb, 18th Feb, 4th Mar, 18th Mar.
If we can get a few extra helpers to join us now and then or regularly that would be absolutely brilliant!
