Farley Harvest: requests and invitations!

Thomas, Lizzy and Oliver will be knocking tentatively at your doors this first week to ask if you might donate tins or packets of food for the Trussell Trust Foodbank again, and we really hope you can reward their efforts with your usual generosity.

Also, we will be decorating the church on morning of Saturday 3rd and would be delighted with any help or garden flowers and foliage.

You are cordially invited to….

Harvest Supper in the Village Hall at 7 pm on Saturday October 3rd

Cottage or Shepherd’s pie and peas
Splendid beetle drive
Fruit Crumbles (do let us know if you have a glut of fruit you can spare for this purpose!)
Bring your own drink
Great raffle prizes!
Proceeds to be shared between Morning Star and Living Water.

Harvest All Age Service in the church at 11am Sunday 4th October

Led by Rev Nils, and supported this year, we hope, by a representative from Living Water, this is always a really heartwarming service, which you won’t want to miss!

The collection from this service, and the food gathered in, will go to the Trussell Trust.
