Hello Neighbours!
You might have received an invitation to join Next Door. This is a local social networking site that is based on postcode. Our ‘neighbourhood’ is Pitton & Farley.
This site allows posts (under various categories) that are sent to all the participants. You will also be able to see the posts from up to 8 neighbouring Next Door ‘neighbourhoods’. But you can choose to ‘turn off’ and ‘turn on’ any of these 8 whenever you chose. So you are able to set your own preferences to see just the Pitton & Farley activity.
It looks like it could be fun and adds another string to our bow for getting information out to the local community. This will be especially true for such things as; lost animals; local help required; selling items; giving away items etc..
