Good afternoon and welcome to the weekend!
This Sunday our church’s liturgical year moves us on 30 years and we celebrate the Baptism of Christ! Cynthia will be leading the Parish Eucharist in Pitton and Debbie will lead Morning Worship in Farley. For those who want to remind themselves of this great beginning to the ministry of Jesus, the gospel reading is from: Luke 3:15-17, 21-2.
Two notices: see below about Christmas cards which are still welcome at Church House and recycle your old cards. Secondly a date for your diary: There will be a Coffee Morning at White Hill Lodge in Pitton in aid of Action for Children and All We Can on Wednesday 23rd January.
Jane and I wish you a wonderful weekend and we look forward to seeing you at All Saints’ or St Peter’s,
Happy New Year from Sara
