Clarendon Team News – 22nd March 2019

Dear Friends,

Good afternoon and welcome to the weekend!

This weekend, as it says below, there is a TEAM service in All Saints’ Farley at 10am so we hope that Pitton people will travel and that our Parish is well represented. It says on the website that Beth, Jane and David will be in charge!
NB No service in Pitton and note earlier time of 10am in Farley

There are two notices to share: Tuesday Group is at Lilian Mossman’s house.
And please put this date in your diary:

Lent Lunch in aid of Tear Fund at White Hill Lodge on Wednesday 3rd April from 12-2. Please phone Hilary on 712556 or Olive on 712336 if you can go as seating is limited.

For all of you who know about or who have seen evidence of the Barn Fire behind our cottage, Doric and I would like to thank you for your concern and your thoughts. We are okay, and so are Terry and Tracy Farwell and all their animals. Our house is unscathed and for that we give thanks. The fire services were amazing and worked for 21 hours to save our property. It is badly damaged but still standing. We are immensely grateful to our family and friends but especially to two very thoughtful “Samaritans” from the village who arrived with tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits for the firefighters. I was boiling the kettle non stop once the power was restored!

Many thanks and best wishes from Sara
