Clarendon Team News – 13th April 2019

Dear Friends,

Welcome to this Palm Sunday weekend!

We are delighted to be sharing a service at St Peter’s Pitton with both Farley and Winterslow where we shall be led by Cynthia. The service will start at the Village Hall at 10.45 for those who wish to process and will continue at 11am in the church itself.

We are also delighted to introduce our new Organist Ben Maton, who will be playing for the first time. He is an Organ Scholar and graduate of St Peter’s College, Oxford. Please do join me in making him very welcome.

There is a sign up list for Pitton people who wish to go to the Licensing Service for the new Team Rector. We hope to share cars as parking is very difficult. It is on Tuesday 23rd April at All Saints’ Winterslow. Farley people, please tell Jane if you are coming.

Congratulations to Jane and her team at Farley for successfully raising £225 for Living Water Africa at the Lent Lunch on Monday. Thank you to all who supported this delicious event!

Next week is Holy Week and the evening services will all be at West Grimstead at 7pm with Maundy Thursday at 7.30.

Mandy is selling eggs for St Peter’s and needs some egg boxes: 6 rather than 12 please. If anyone has any spare, could they leave them by The Old Bakery front door and she will have the eggs available on Sunday.

We wish you a very happy weekend and look forward to seeing you at church,

With very best wishes from Jane and Sara
