CORONAVIRUS – HELPING HANDS (PITTON)

Pitton Community Support

HELPING HANDS

A group of village residents in Pitton has set up a network of volunteers to support any members of our community that are unable to leave their homes because of Coronavirus and would like help.

The village has been divided into smaller areas and you should have received a flyer through your door detailing the volunteers for your area.  If you haven’t, please contact Maggie Fowler on 01722 712337 or at fowler.maf@gmail.com.

The volunteers can provide practical help such as:
• Collecting basic supplies and prescriptions (using the village shop where possible)
• Organise dog walking

Please call them if you just want to let someone know that you are self-isolating.

The volunteers won’t be coming into your home.  Please be aware of the danger of scammers.  If you want to use this village network, please only contact the names on the flyer you have received through your door or contact Maggie Fowler on 01722 712337 or at fowler.maf@gmail.com.
