To make people aware; a few days ago my neighbour had a frightening experience in the woods, near the Oak Close entrance whilst she was walking her dog. Her dog did not return when called, she had seen a couple acting suspiciously. When she approached them she saw her dog hidden in bushes with a rope around his neck as a lead, despite the couple denying they had seen the dog. She managed to get the dog away from them but he was very sick for a couple of days, we suspect he was drugged. Please, please be vigilant when walking your dogs.
Dog thefts from gardens and whilst out in walks are becoming more commonplace. Please keep a close eye on your pets.
