Kings & Queens Carnival Flier Final 2022
Kings, Queens, Princesses and Corgis, you are cordially invited to
Pitton Carnival 2022!
A Royal ‘Kings & Queens’ affair Saturday 2nd July 3.15pm Start. Pop the dates in your diary (see below).
• Scarecrow or decorate your garden for fun (not judged this year). Every scarecrow and garden wins a carnival prize voucher.
• Dog Show
• Usual stalls and competitions, with some new additions
• Kids’ entertainment and dancing
• Hot food and Ice Cream Van on site
• Cream teas
• Dancing to the “Woodsiders” & “The Stingrays”
• Fireworks Grand Finale
Carnival Helpers will be calling to sell you tickets which are for the evening entertainment – cost is £4.00 per head, £10 per family (i.e., 2 adults/2 children 16 and under).
Your ticket will be replaced with a hand stamp on entry to the Carnival. You will need this visible stamp from 6:00pm onwards. (This helps to cover the cost of the Kids Entertainer, Band and Fireworks).
SATURDAY 2nd JULY CARNIVAL FETE DAY!
• Assemble your Kings and Queens in the Close at 3.15pm (Judging will take place at that time).
• Fancy Dress Parade to the Village Hall Field Main Arena.
• Grand Opening at 4.00pm.
• Categories for Fancy Dress are: Pre School Age, Primary School Age, Secondary School Age, Adults
• Various stalls and competitions will run from 4.00pm to 6.00pm
• Pitton Pooches in the main arena at 4:30pm
• Classes are:
✓ Best Fancy Dress
✓ Best Agility
✓ Waggiest Tail
✓ Dog v Sausage – Challenge Plus —— The Race
You can register your super dog on the day for £1 per class or £3 for all five classes.
• Pimm’s, Bubbly and Beer Marquee
• Re-fuel Stop for the U18s
• Hot food from Salamander Catering
• Cold grub from Bob’s Ices Ice Cream Van
• Cream teas Marquee
• Bouncy Cattle
Evening Entertainment
• Children’s entertainment from 6.00pm until 7.00pm
• Dancing to the Woodsiders from 7.00pm until 8.30pm
• Dancing to The Stingrays from 8.45 to 10.15pm
• Fireworks Finale at 10.30pm

We will be setting up the field for the fete on the morning of Saturday 2nd from 10 am. All help most welcome!
