Annual Parochial Church meeting

Sunday 19 April 2015 at 15:00

Dear Friend,

As the sun continues to shine and the blossom is coming out it really does feel as if summer is around the corner!

I have attached the Annual Report on Farley and Pitton for your information, and I commend it to you. You are warmly invited to the Annual Parochial Church meeting which is on Sunday 19th April at 3pm in St Peter’s Pitton. Tea and cake will be served afterwards. This is an important meeting for all those who care about our churches and who wish to have a say in their running and in their activities and we hope that more people than usual will attend. This is your opportunity to ask Nils, our Rector any questions about the report. Paper copies can be printed out for you if you wish; please contact Debbie on  and she will bring one for you to the meeting. There is a copy in both churches and a few will be brought on Sunday 19th.

This Sunday in Pitton is the Baptism of Tommy Taylor, who is the grandson of Pat Cudby and he is being baptised by Cynthia who also married his parents, Graham and Emma. Please do come and show your support.

In Farley, Michael Barratt will be leading Morning Worship at 11am.

For all those Pitton people who supported World Water Day and the Samaritan’s Purse appeal we are delighted to report that £212.09 was collected in the empty water bottles. There is still one more bottle to come so we have raised a great amount of money towards the provision of clean water in Ugandan village of Karamoja. Thank you VERY much.

For the Team Notices please check the Team website on the home page: www.clarendonteam.org They come out each Friday. We are still looking for maternity cover for Cara, our Team Administrator so please do tell your friends. It can be flexible on hours and would suit someone who wants only part time work.

With very best wishes from Sara

St.Peter's Church, Pitton
