Farley Music Festival 2018 – Sapori Vocali presents A Night at the Opera
Date/Time
Created in October 2016, Sapori Vocali, which means ‘Vocal Flavours’, is a performing arts company that organises small concerts and shows around Britain. Their aim is to showcase emerging classical artists. They provide platforms on which young musicians can perform and demonstrate their training and talent. Their founder Alexandra Frazer graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a first-class honours degree and a Master of Music with distinction, having spent the previous six years training as a Soprano. Alexandra wanted to create a company that would give musicians, like herself, performance opportunities through both internal concerts and shows, and also external engagements. In the last 11 months they have put on 3 shows and 2 concerts, with many more projects planned. As a soloist Alexandra has performed in noteworthy venues around the country such as The Bridge Water Hall, Sheffield City Hall, Westminster Abbey. She recently sang with the Cantorion Menai Choral Society at Bangor Cathedral, Wales. Whilst studying, Alexandra received additional tuition and coaching from Dame Emma Kirkby, David Owen Noriss, Sir John Tomlinson, Hilary Summers, Roger Hamilton, Simon Halsey, and the Academy of Ancient Music. Previously Alexandra worked for the BBC Daily Service Singers as well as performing a variety of roles on the opera stage. One of Alexandra’s passions is opera. She has performed roles such as Cobweb in RNCM’s This concert is now SOLD OUT.This concert is generously sponsored by NFU Mutual
