Harvest Festival at St Peter’s, Pitton

Sunday 03 October 2021 at 11:00

You are warmly invited to an informal Harvest Thanksgiving Service at 11am on Sunday 3rd October at St Peter’s with refreshments. Everyone is very welcome. This year’s Harvest Festival will be a celebration of so many things but most especially our abundant food that means we never go hungry.

The village Flower Ladies who created a wonderful display of flowers for Frank Simmon’s funeral will again use their talents to decorate the church for Harvest. Please do drop in and admire their window sill creations.

If you would like to contribute to a collection of dry and tinned produce for those in our local community who do not have enough food then we are taking donations to The Trussell Trust and these can be left in the church porch on Saturday or Sunday.

Garden produce of fruit and vegetables can also be brought to the church where they will be displayed during the service. They will then either be given to a local charity or sold in aid of TearFund.
