Hazel Hill Wood Conservation Day
Volunteer Conservation Days
Come and join one of our volunteer conservation days at Hazel Hill Wood . Located just 7 miles East of Salisbury near the village of Farley, Hazell Hill Wood is a 70 acre ancient woodland site run as a charity. It has a high diversity of wildflowers, trees, fungi and wildlife. Taking care of the natural habitats requires ongoing work and you can join our team and learn new skills while enjoying the beauty of the wood and meeting new people.
The next conservation day is from 10 am to 3 pm on Sat 16th Dec 2017
Join us and contribute to valuable nature conservation work at Hazel Hill Wood. Our Volunteer Conservation Days give you the opportunity to develop new skills, meet people and get active in a relaxing and nourishing environment. Tasks vary throughout the year; examples include tree thinning, path maintenance, hurdle making and wildlife surveys. Activities often require the use of tools. Children are welcome to come with a responsible adult. Please come prepared to be outside for the day, considering the weather.
