Join Opera Lyrica on Saturday 21st February for their latest production – a double bill of John Blow’s Venus and Adonis and Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas.
Two of the most celebrated doomed couples in opera come together for an evening of baroque love and loss. A stellar cast of young talent accompanied by a small period ensemble makes for an evening not to be missed.

Christopher Diffey is one of this generation’s up and coming Tenors. After relocating from Melbourne, Australia, he graduated from the Royal Academy of Music Opera Course. Christopher has performed all over the United Kingdom and Europe, making his London debut at Saint Martin-in-the-Fields with the London Pro Arte Orchestra and the East London Chorus.
