Pitton Carol Service – Covid Update

Date/Time
Thursday 23 December 2021 at 18:45

The annual Pitton Carol Service at St Peter’s will be held OUTSIDE in the Churchyard and on Church Lane to ensure Covid safety and to enable singing at full voice! You are all encouraged to come and enjoy the Kensington Brass Ensemble, with their Conductor, Will Cole and Pitton’s own Village Choir. It will start at 6.45 with mulled wine and mince pies and the shortened service of readings and carols will start at 7pm. This will be led by our Vicar, Simon Chambers. Please dress warm and bring your torches. We will have extra lighting but please take care on the uneven ground.

The church will be open as usual during daylight hours and is beautifully decorated so you can enjoy it over the next week when you pass by. Do take your children and grandchildren in to see the Crib and the Christmas Tree and please do turn on the lights in both to appreciate them at their best.

We wish you a safe and happy Christmas and are delighted to demonstrate that at the heart of Christmas is a message that cannot be cancelled!

With best wishes from Sara, Sarah, Linda, Debbie and Phillip
