birdSome of the most colourful and fascinating birds in the world are Kingfishers, Rollers and Bee-eaters. See some of the smallest, the biggest, and the loveliest and hear about their very varied and sometimes quite unexpected life styles. Sue’s tackled Wiltshire and Australia in past talks and now she takes on the World… of the Coraciiformes!

Dear friends, I was just wondering if you and your family might enjoy a slide show I am giving in January. It promises to be very colourful if nothing else!! Even if you wouldn’t normally come out on a dark cold night in January perhaps you might consider this night out. Doors open at 7 pm so best to get to the Salt Lane Car Park in good time (it’s free after 6 pm).  Hecklers welcome! Do put it in your busy diary.
Very best wishes, Sue Walker

There will also be a Raffle, RSPB Sales Goods, Bird Food and Pin Badges, and Tombola with proceeds to RSPB Conservation Projects.

Doors open 7 pm for 7.30 pm start, 9.30 to 9.40 pm end (with luck and a fair wind)

RSPB Local Group Members £5, all others £6, under 16s free
