Yamaha TR1 Motorcycle Rally
Friday 16 August 2019 at 00:00
This is to let you know there is an event about to happen in the village. I am organising a small Motorcycle Rally. The Rally will take place over the weekend of Friday 16th – Sunday 18th August. The venue is the field behind the Village Hall.
I have previously attended eight of these Rallys which have been held in various locations in Europe. It is my turn to host the Rally. I am expecting about forty riders to attend. There will be Riders from the Netherlands, Germany, UK and possibly Italy. The Rally is for a particular type of motorcycle the Yamaha TR1. They were only sold between 1981 and 1985. The TR1 is now considered a classic.
If you would like to come along to see the bikes and meet the riders please do so. You will be welcome. Alternatively,we will ride out on Saturday morning at 10am. You can watch the procession through the village.
