Pitton Village Hall Playing Field was given to the village in the 1950s and 60s by local landowners who wanted a piece of land to be permanently available for leisure use by the inhabitants of Pitton. It is managed by the Trustees of Pitton Village Hall.

Today the Playing Field is used by a number of the village clubs – the Tennis Club and the Petanque Club are regular users – and for most of the all-village events. The highlight of the year is undoubtedly Carnival Day, when as well as the usual fete day stalls, there is an area set aside for the evening dancing, and a large space is still available for the young (and old) to kick a ball around.

In addition, the field can be used for weddings, anniversaries and parties of all kinds. For further information, contact the Village Hall Bookings Secretary
