PITTON CARNIVAL, 6th JULY 2019
3.15pm until Late

The theme this year is The Circus

• Scarecrow or decorate your garden for fun (not judged this year). Every scarecrow and garden wins a prize voucher.
• Dog Show
• Usual stalls and competitions, with some new additions
• Kids entertainment and dancing
• Hot food and Ice Cream Van on site
• Cream teas
• Real coffee van
• Fireworks Grand Finale
• Murder Mystery Evening

Carnival Helpers will be calling to sell you tickets which are for the evening entertainment – cost is £4.00 per head, £10 per family (i.e. 2 adults/2 children 16 and under).

Your ticket will be replaced with a hand stamp on entry to the Carnival. You will need this visible stamp from 6:00 pm onwards. (This helps to cover the cost of the Kids Entertainer, Band and Fireworks)

 

SATURDAY 6TH JULY

CARNIVAL FETE DAY!!

Fancy Dress Parade

• Assemble your jugglers, clowns and ringmasters in the Close at 3.15pm.
• Judging will take place at that time.
• Fancy Dress Parade to the Village Hall Field Main Arena.
• Grand Opening at 4.00pm.
• Categories for Fancy Dress are: Pre School Age, Primary School Age, Secondary School, Age, Adults

Village Fete

• Various stalls and competitions will run from 4.00pm to 6.00pm
• Pitton Pooches in the main arena at 4:30pm
• Classes are:  Best Fancy Dress,  Best Agility, Waggiest Tail, Dog v Sausage – Challenge, Plus —— The Race

• Pimms stall and Beer Tent
• Re-fuel Stop for the U18s
• Hot food from Salamander Catering
• Cold grub from Bob’s Ices Ice Cream Van
• Cream teas
• Real coffee from the Volkswagon coffee van
• Challenge Corner including Tennis, Basketball, Golf etc.

Evening Entertainment

• Childrens entertainment by Alex from Kidzlovefit from 6.00pm until 7.00pm
• Dancing to the Woodsiders from 7.00pm until 10.00pm
• Fireworks Finale at 10.30pm

AND what can YOU do to help?

• CAKES – these can be left at the Hall on the morning of Carnival Day
• TOYS for the toy stall will be collected by your carnival helper or deliver to the hall on the morning of the 6th July.
• BOTTLES for the Bottle Stall, will be collected by your carnival helper or deliver to John Veck by Friday 5th July.
• BOOKS for the Book Stall, will be collected by your carnival helper or deliver to the hall on the morning of the 6th July.
• PROMISES/ITEMS for the Auction of Promises to Chris Fry on 712492.
• OLD CROCKERY for the crockery smashing stall. Please contact Guy Madgwick on 712911.

And we will be setting up the field for the fete on the morning of Saturday 6th July from 10 am. All help most welcome!
