Hello Men of Pitton
For our annual event this year, we thought we would hold it in the summer rather than the winter.
We are proposing a lunchtime cruise with Blue Funnel from Southampton in mid June 2014.
Outline details are below. The actual date will be agreed when the numbers are finalised and arrangements made with Blue Funnel.
The idea would be to go by coach to Southampton Ocean Village leaving Pitton mid-morning and returning late afternoon.
The cruise would be three hours aboard M.V. Ashleigh travelling along Southampton Water and the Rivers Hamble, Test and Itchen.
However, the cruise would not be exclusive to our party as the cost would be too great (it costs £250 per hour for private hire).
The expected MoP cost would be approx. £35 per person to cover coach, cruise and lunch.
Blue Funnel require a firm booking with a minimum of 50 people for a seated lunch on board – 10 to a table.
If you approve of the idea, we need a firm commitment to allow us to make the booking. Payment would be required later.
