At long last, we have found a proper Italian stone base pizza oven that fits in our kitchen! 12″ crispy thin base pizzas all set to roll for eat-in and take-away from Wednesday 1st February. If anyone has ideas for toppings (apart from the tomato and mozzarella cheese base) please let us know (within reason!)? We are thinking along the lines of chorizo, salami, Hawaiian, rocket, baby tomatoes, herbs from the garden etc. We have had various “guinea pig” testers this morning and we all agreed they are delicious with just the (generous) Margherita base which was our sample, and would be even more so with some extra toppings.
