As you all know the annual Pitton Carnival was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but we are still holding the Auction of Promises.
This is a slick and exciting on-line auction that runs from 9am Saturday 11th July to 5pm Saturday 18th July, the joining details are shown below.
You can bid for items, or just donate some money for the village hall.
When the auction finishes successful bidders will be sent a notification for payment of their item by credit card.
Also note that the software is being provided to us free of charge by Galabid. When you make your payment there will be a non-compulsory donation button. Please give generously. This is an experimental business model for Galabid – and we might want to use this software again!
So please make your bids. I would ask you not to select the ‘anonymous’ button, outbidding your friends is all part of the fun.

Follow the registration link you are sent from GalaBid to log in and place bids. You can change your temporary password by navigating to ‘My Account’.

Enter your details and click ‘Register’
You will then receive an email with a verification link. Clicking the link will take you to the auction where you can log in with the password you entered during registration. You are now ready to bid!
