Pitton’s local pub is a nominee in two categories in the Hall & Woodhouse annual awards -The well-loved local is a finalist in ‘The Best Newcomer for the Community Award’ for their innovative ideas and efforts in revitalising the inn as a focal point in the community and in the semi-finals for the ‘Best Roast Dinner’ award in the southwest (try it – but you’ll need to book!)
Simon and Hannah Andrews-Jones, the two tenants who’ve been running the pub since September say that their aim is to not only get a reputation for great food and a warm welcome but to make the pub an integral part of the village and a welcome stop for walkers and hikers enjoying the beautiful Wiltshire countryside.
