Wiltshire Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
Temporary Closure of: Forestry Houses and Livery Road (Part), Pitton and Farley and Winterslow (Ref: TTRO 6237)
Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council has made an Order to close temporarily to all traffic:
Foresty Houses, Pitton and Farley; from its junction with Ben Lane to its junction with Livery Road;
Livery Road (Part) Pitton and Farley and Winterslow; from its junction with Foresty Houses to its junction with Weston Lane.
To enable: Eurovia to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking adjustment of ironworks and surface dressing.
Alternative route: via Livery Road (unaffected length) – The Street – Pitton Road – High Street – C321 – Church Road – Ben Lane and vice versa.
The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs and a map of the affected area can be found here.
This Order will come into operation on 04 November and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 18:00 until 05 November 2019. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
The Order will have a maximum duration of 18 months.
