Farley Defibrillator Out of Service

The defibrillator has been temporarily removed for new batteries. pads and a general overhaul to check it is in good reliable working order.  On its return it will be registered with the emergency services in the event of a 999 call out (it turns out it’s existence was not known to the emergency services for some reason).  It will also be checked on an obligatory monthly routine basis to keep it registered with them and to make sure it is in full working order at all times.

In the meantime, in its absence, the advice is to call 999 in the event of an emergency and they will tell you the nearest location of an alternative defibrillator.
We are hoping to schedule a training session for anyone interested in early May at The Hook and Glove.
We will e mail everyone again on the defibrillator’s return, hopefully fairly soon.
Kind regards, Fiona.
